Your website is really the place you want clients and potential clients to go… again and again. Whenever you are able to write articles (blog posts) on your own site in stead of sending viewers to other sites, the more you are able to establish your authority. Not authority as in you are the boss of someone, but the authority as in the one people “go to” to get their answers.
Would you rather have your clients go to Chewy’s or your clinic? The videos below demonstrates how Chewy’s is establishing their own authority over local veterinary practices to your clients. It’s time for you to fight back. And, we can help!
There is more to it than this, but the more links you have going to your website from outside sources, the higher your Domain Authority. So, create some original content, get it on your website and start getting the word out there that your clients, and potential clients should be coming to you as the pet authority.
Make sure your Search Engine Optimization (S.E.O.) is good. This is an ongoing project and you will likely work on this as long as you have your website and you’re adding content. You can read more about S.E.O. and what you can do to improve it here (link coming soon).
In the mean time, check your site for issues that Google sees as a problem below. The site check is limited to 25 pages, but it will give you results in about a minute on any issues you may have.
Share your own posts to other media outlets. You can easily share links to your website pages or posts through Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. You can share them on Instagram, but links won’t be clickable here, so make your link simple, visual and memorable, such as YourVetClinic.com/Website.
As you can tell, there is way more to digital marketing, than just building a website and leaving it. You have to be committed to working on this continually. We understand that many of you don’t have the time, or maybe even the skill to do this, so we have partnered with Battle Cry Revival to make sure we are able to handle all of your Veterinary Marketing needs.
